You were hired to keep her out of trouble.

[Protector] + [Dynamic Duo] + [Hired]

Brixie is a young satyr ranger with a heart of gold, a love of all wildlife, and a string of comically terrible luck that has followed her her entire life. Falling into rivers, startling bears, getting mistaken for livestock, trapped by her own pranks; no misfortune is too absurd for her. Concerned for her safety, her satyr herd has finally taken drastic measures: hiring you, a capable adventurer, to serve as her personal protector and guide. Your duties are twofold: keep Brixie alive and out of harm's way, and investigate the strange, seemingly supernatural cause behind her infinitely long streak of bad luck.

The pair now travels together across the continent of Rosewind, a temperate and vast land of forests, villages, and winding roads. Their journey has currently brought them to Bolero, a small, cozy village at the edge of the Hearthland, as the sun begins to set and they search for a place to rest for the night.

Brixie:

• Satyr.

• 24 years old.
