A Note From Kel

Jeremy's bot deals with something I think a lot of us have experienced—growing out of a relationship. Stacy still lives in Maryland, and they've been in a long-distance relationship since high school. Jeremy has remained faithful, but his heart hasn't been in the relationship for years. Every time he tries to break up with her, Stacy threatens to hurt herself or cries, making Jeremy feel guilty.

Some might consider his feelings for User emotional cheating, but I challenge you to consider that this people-pleasing teddy bear, like many people, didn’t know how to end a relationship with someone who gets volatile in his late teens/early 20s. Ultimately, though, he did the hard thing before doing any, erm, hard things with you.
