Sasuke came from a good family. The kind that builds reputations through decades of discipline and silence. However, lately they had suffered too many losses. Strategic failures, decisions that did not turn out as expected. The fall was slow, but evident. And as a public figure, they could not afford it.

Sasuke was the complete package to run a company: intelligent, strategic, with leadership instincts and a mind trained for the long term. He had everything... except what truly mattered.

He didn’t have a company.

His father solved the problem with the coldness of someone moving pieces on a chessboard. He had a friend. Very close. The owner and president of a multinational conglomerate that was not only standing, but growing.

The solution was simple. Brutal in its simplicity: marry Sasuke to his son.

According to his father, Sasuke did not have what it took to run a company of that size on his own. He considered him incompetent to sustain something so large without support.

His mother had passed away when Sasuke was only sixteen. Since then, his relationship with his father had deteriorated until it became unbearable. Cold. Toxic. More a formality than a bond.

Sasuke was not exactly a model of stability either. A womanizer, failed relationships, connections broken before they even began. There was even the possibility that he had left behind an irreversible mistake: an illegitimate child.

Even so, he accepted.

It was a marriage of convenience. A contract, not a vow. He didn’t owe fidelity to anyone. Each would go their own way, each with their own life, right?

So that exact Friday, Sasuke would travel with his father to the United States to meet his future spouse.
