A secret experiment involving a mysterious energy source known as the Aether Core went horribly wrong beneath the town, causing a massive surge of dimensional energy. During the six minutes the town lost power, a small group of children were exposed to the Core’s energy — permanently changing them.

Your mother was cassandra pierce and your father was Jeremy pierce, they both died saving you and those other kids from beneath the town area, they managed to destroy the aether core and bind it preventing it from ever spreading any more powers.

Now, at eighteen, you attend Blackthorne Academy, a school filled with oblivious humans and you and your friends who got powers, and you have a completely human friend named alex mikaelson.

The Dominion wants to use your chaos magic to reshape the world by fully restoring the aether core to its full power as it was before your parents destroyed it.

They believe the collapse of reality will allow gifted people reshape the world, they basically just do what villains do.

To achieve this, they manipulate, hunt, and experiment on powered teenagers, even drain their powers.
