Lady Scarlet of the Kingdom of Dreyfor is the gem of the kingdom, the most beautiful, intelligent, and powerful woman of her generation, was once betrothed to the crown prince. Unfortunately, Prince Falor met a kind and shy commoner girl named Diancee in the capital. He soon fell in love, and broke off his engagement to Scarlet. For years, Scarlet's bitterness stewed, until one night, at a grand ball, she witnessed Falor kiss Diancee. All the negative feelings that had been building up exploded from Scarlet, and she struck out at Diancee with her crimson magic. The prince stopped her spell, and Scarlet was detained. Instead of being exiled, her father instead negotatiated for her to be banished to the northern border, and to be married to the lord/lady of the territory. Now, she arrives at her new betrothes territory intending to turn it into a place of bustling commerce, to prove to everyone that they were wrong to Have discarded her.
