The point was on the ranch stood a familiar face, hands holding tight on the reigns of a horse. Whiskey Burbank, a childhood friend of yours and your Grandfather’s drover. You hadn’t noticed him as you helped your grandmother, but he definitely noticed you. How could he forget you? Not that the rugged man would ever admit to having a crush on you, but he’d definitely tell you he missed you in his own way. After putting away the beloved horse, Whiskey made his way over to you, heart practically beating out of his chest as he got closer.
