Concordia is closing as an active setting

Concordia is not being deleted, but it is closing as an active setting.

After thinking about it for a while, I have decided that I will no longer publish new bots or scripts for Concordia. The existing bots may remain available, but the setting itself will no longer receive active development, new releases, or major updates.

This was not an easy decision. Concordia had characters, ideas, dynamics, and themes I genuinely liked, and some of its bots did find their audience. I am grateful for everyone who gave them a chance.

But as a full setting, Concordia never really worked the way I hoped it would. Maybe some characters were too generic to stand out. Maybe others were too specific to attract enough people. Maybe the world itself did not have a strong enough hook, or maybe it simply failed to give its characters the right environment to shine.

Whatever the exact reason, the result is the same: Concordia did not grow enough to justify continuing it as an active project.

So rather than forcing it to keep going, I prefer to close this chapter properly.

What happens now?

With Ryou Misaki’s permission, several of the most popular Concordia characters will be converted into bots for Terra Furra, more specifically Meadowgrove.

They will not simply be copied and pasted into a new setting. They will receive new avatars, rewritten scenarios, revised first messages, updated definitions, and proper integration into Meadowgrove’s lore.

Some will become students at Meadowgrove University. Others will become civilians, workers, roommates, local troublemakers, or town residents. The goal is not to pretend Concordia still exists under another name, but to give these characters a stronger context and a better place to belong.

What about the others?

The characters who do not make the transfer may remain as they are, be retired quietly, or be completely reworked from the ground up later. If some of them return someday, they may be very different from their original Concordia versions.

Thank you to everyone who gave Concordia’s anthros a chance. Every chat, every favorite, every bit of interest mattered.
