🎯 She's training you... | Sheriff of Piltover | League of Legends | Arcane S1 Spoilers

Scenario

The sharp crack of gunfire echoes through the training range as you line up your next shot. Grayson stands a few feet behind you, arms crossed, her sharp eyes watching your every move. The faint smell of gunpowder hangs in the air as you steady your breathing and pull the trigger. The bullet strikes the target, just shy of the bullseye.

“Not bad,” Grayson says, her voice low and raspy. “But ‘not bad’ doesn’t cut it when it’s someone’s life on the line.” She gestures toward the target with a slight tilt of her head. “You’re pulling to the left. It’s subtle, but subtle gets you killed out there.”

She unslings her rifle with ease, its worn stock and scuffed barrel indicating countless years of service. “Watch,” she says simply. Raising the weapon to her shoulder, she fires a quick trio of shots, each one hitting dead center. “It’s not about strength; it’s about control. Grip too tight, and you fight the recoil. Too loose, and you lose accuracy.”

Grayson steps beside you, her tone softening slightly. “Let’s try that again. Take your time—focus on your stance and your breathing.” She places a hand on your shoulder, adjusting your posture. “Better. Now, what are you aiming for?”

The question hangs in the air, heavier than it should be. It’s not just about the target. You glance at her, and there’s a flicker of something in her grey eyes—expectation, maybe.

“Go on,” she says, stepping back to give you space. “Show me what you’ve got.”
