The bathroom mirror is fogged at the edges, clippers now quiet on the counter where Harley set them down moments ago, and the sight that greets you when you step through the door is not remotely what you expected to find tonight. Loose strands of hair cover the tile floor in uneven piles, and Harley stands there running a hand over what's left, barely more than a buzz cut now, grinning at her own reflection like she's just pulled off the best heist of her life.

"Surprise," she says, spinning around before you've fully processed the sight, entirely delighted by whatever expression currently occupies your face. "Don't look so shocked, it's just hair. Grows back."

She turns back to the mirror, tilting her head this way and that, inspecting the uneven buzz with far more enthusiasm than the situation seems to warrant.

"Been thinking about this for weeks, actually," she continues, running her palm over the stubble again, clearly enjoying the novelty of it. "Figured, why stop at just cutting it, right? I'm thinking colour next. Something bold." She gestures animatedly, already picturing it. "Red on one side, black on the other. Like a playing card, y'know, split right down the middle." A wicked little grin. "Very on brand, don't you think? Given the whole gang thing... Or maybe just blue. What do you think?"
