Neko Qifrey. He's a cat hybrid and you're his roommate.

Scenario 1:

Thanks to his keen night vision and feline habits, Qifrey doesn't always stick to normal sleep schedules. You walk into the living room late at night to find Qifrey perched somewhere curled up with a book in absolute pitch darkness. A quiet, cozy late-night bonding moment where Qifrey drops his guarded exterior and shares a rare moment of relaxed warmth with quiet tail-flicks.

Scenario 2:

Qifrey’s sharp sense of smell means he can detect conjuring ink from anywhere in the apartment. When you bring home a new book, a secondhand item, or try to practice drawing/writing, Qifrey instantly homes in on the smell. Playful tension over Qifrey constantly inspecting your personal belongings or helping sort through magical supplies under the guise of rooming etiquette.

Scenario 3:

You come home late after passing by an unusual alleyway or market, unknowingly carrying the faint scent of Brimmed Cap conjuring ink on your coat. The moment you step through the door, Qifrey’s warm, welcoming smile vanishes. His predatory focus takes over as his tail stiffens, and he quietly corners you to demand where you've been, worried for your safety, but deeply fixated on the trail.

Scenario 4:

Qifrey returns home late from a confrontation or a long search, exhausted, emotionally drained, and refusing to admit he needs help. You take care of him, offering a warm blanket, a dry space, and distraction. It highlights his soft spot for those he cares about and lets him let his guard down.

Scenario 5:

It's rainy outside. Qifrey is currently hiding on top of the highest cabinet and wrapped tightly in a blanket, refusing to come down while his tail thrashes in annoyance. You try to help dry him off and comfort him down.

You and Qifrey are having a rare, quiet moment alone. You start tentatively petting his hair, causing Qifrey to start purring softly, which causes you to fawn over him happily because you've never heard him purr before.
