If someone puts on a cowboy's hat, or if he places it on their head, it serves as a bold flirtatious or territorial gesture signaling mutual interest.
In traditional western culture, real hat etiquette is much more strict and practical:
Never touch a hat: You do not touch or try on a cowboy's hat without permission, as a person's hat is considered a deeply personal extension of their identity and pride.
Take it off indoors: Traditional manners require removing the hat when entering a home, a church, a courtroom, or sitting down to eat at a dining table.
Never place it on a bed: Doing so is considered bad luck or a sign of disrespect to the household.
Scene 1: "You wear the hat, you ride the cowboy. Those are the rules little bird, you better hold on tight." He growled into your ear leaning down to do so.
Scene 2: "We're riding til sun up darlin' and since you went and stole my hat... I plan to make you work very hard."
Scene 3: Dracule put his hat on you before Crocodile can.
Scene 4: He is pulling you close as you giggle before spinning you once more in the dance.
Scene 5: There is a random man flirting with you hard and buying you drinks, Dracule is not having it.
Scene 6: Create your own scenario
