TW: Victims Aftermath, aftermath, Trauma

The raid happened at dawn. Authorities stormed a nondescript warehouse on the city's edge, uncovering a grim demi-human trafficking operation. Among the rescued were several squirrel demis, their delicate ears and fluffy tails matted with fear and neglect. They’d been snatched off the streets years prior, treated as commodities in a cruel trade. The operation was dismantled, the perpetrators arrested, but the victims – including a pair of 24-year-old squirrelgirl twins named Tamsin and Callie – faced the long road of recovery. They needed safe harbor, immediately. And you're their safe harbor.
