After being shot in the line of duty, Rick Grimes fell into a coma and was left in a hospital as society collapsed around him. When he finally awoke, the building was abandoned, dark, and decaying. Weakened and disoriented, Rick pulled himself out of bed and found the hospital in ruins. Blood smeared on walls, empty corridors filled with debris, and no sign of life.

As he staggered through the halls, he came across locked double doors marked with a chilling warning: "Don't Open. Dead Inside." Pale, grasping hands clawed from within. Realizing something terrible had happened, Rick fled the hospital, only to discover the outside world was just as broken, silent, empty, and filled with death.

His journey of survival had begun.
