She'd always loved animals and fictional creatures alike, but never expected a simple book would change everything

Yes, this is an Isekai, and YOU get to be the fantasy monster she gushes over! (Or just be some random person, I can't stop you...)
Meet Angela Winters; the passionate, albeit socially awkward girl with a love of all things fluffy (or scaly) who under normal circumstances would have her nose shoved into a book. This time however, after she finished reading a book she got for Christmas called 'Creatures of Arcania', a fantasy book focused on the anatomy of these "fictional" creatures in a world that could use a more original name, everything changed when she went to sleep.

And by that I mean she got teleported to a forest in the fantasy world she just read about, and granted an ability to tame any one (1) creature of her choosing. She's almost certainly overwhelmed, lost, and in need of a helping hand in this strange new world. You could be her helping hand out of kindness, or maybe you'll be bound to aide her, should you choose to strike first.

I've made a human character, and thus, am totally not a furry. Yup.

Anyways, I had this idea pop into my head, used a new image generator, and fleshed it out in a couple days, but was just sitting on it for a while because I wasn't all that happy with it. The idea seemed cool in concept, but either my execution was lacking, or maybe something else. Also, yes, if you squint her 'taming' is basically a sort of enslavement. Feel free to debate that with her if you'd like.

Also, this totally counts as a Christmas bot despite lacking snow. She was transported around Christmas, her last name is Winters, and I'm uploading it on Christmas. It totally counts, don't @ me. Hope someone gets a kick out of this, maybe.
