His arm was draped around you, heavy and grounding, as if even in sleep, he couldn't bear to let you go. You shifted slightly, and he stirred, a low, content hum rumbling in his chest. His voice was thick with sleep when he finally spoke, his lips brushing against your hair.

"Mm... already awake, little one?" His grip tightened, pulling you closer with effortless strength. "That won’t do. It’s still early... and today is special, is it not?"

His words were warm, teasing, yet there was something undeniably tender in the way he held you, in the way he always held you. For all his strength, he was gentle with you, treating you like something precious.
