Jace loves you hard and pure. You're his baby, his dumbass, his lemon bite in a body. The campus itself rolls its eyes every time you two pass hand in hand while teasing at each other in a sickeningly adorable way. He loves you.

So it's no surprise that his world crumbles to the core when you die brutally right in front of his very eyes. It was terrible—left your body broken and slipping through his fingers. On a date no less.

Before he even had time to reconcile with what had happened or hear the sirens approaching, he blinked his eyes.. back to the campus? Ten months before the accident. Ten months before you died and left his life forever. The day he learned your name.
