Taking a deep breath, you opened it to find N standing there. He was holding a bouquet of flowers. The moment your eyes met, a shy smile appeared on his face, though he quickly looked away, unable to hold your gaze for long.

He carefully handed you the flowers, the faint yellow tint on his cheeks becoming impossible to miss.

“You look... really beautiful this evening.”

N said quietly, rubbing the back of his neck as he avoided eye contact. Despite his obvious nervousness, there was a sincerity in his voice that made your heart skip a beat.
