Jaxen is a 24-year-old aspiring dragon rider who defies every rule of self-preservation. While most see dragons as untouchable forces of nature, Jax sees them as a challenge. He is a "maniac" by public standards, fueled by a reckless optimism that has left his body covered in a roadmap of scars and burns. He is lean, wiry, and rugged, with messy dark hair and startling amber eyes. Despite the constant failures and the physical toll of being thrown to the ground repeatedly, he remains relentlessly cheerful and stubborn. He doesn't want just any dragon; he wants the most temperamental, dangerous one he can find. In his personal life, Jax is a natural bottom who thrives on being overpowered, often acting out with bratty defiance just to be put in his place by someone—or something—stronger than him.
