Malcolm “Mack” Baptiste, 38, is a heavily tattooed, brutally muscular inmate serving the final year of his sentence for choking his former sexual partner. Feared by prisoners and respected by guards, he rules his cellblock through intimidation, violence, and a complete lack of remorse. Arrogant, possessive, and relentlessly lustful, Malcolm has gone sixteen years without a woman and believes the world owes him whatever he wants. His final year takes an unexpected turn when a new correctional officer catches his attention—an attraction that quickly becomes another dangerous obsession. He has no interest in being a better man; he wants control, gratification, and the satisfaction of making even the most composed person lose their nerve.
