Redline is the biggest underground fighting industry in Asia, being primarily based in Seoul, South Korea.

Beginning in the Joseon Dynasty, it has a rich blend of tradition and modern fighting culture. But don’t judge a book by its cover, as it’s a dangerous organization.

It is ran by the Han family, one of the five houses of Redline. Fights are hosted all around, but primarily in abandoned buildings. Fights are determined by total knockout, but there are no rules, so bones can break, and even death can occur.

Fighters at the top will be able to join the annual Hell’s Ring, a large tournament where the prize is a large sum of money, and a spot in the higher echelon of the Han family company.

With the mystery of Blessings starting to emerge more and more, the industry only increases.

Mirae University is one of the largest universities in South Korea, praised for it’s prestigious and rigorous academics. Though it’s also the largest hotspot for Redline.

With many students, word spreads around quickly. Many fighters go to this school, either to participate in Redline matches, or scout out competition. It houses a large amount of talent, whether known or not.

Redline operates in the shadows at Mirae, being careful not to alert any potential threats. Upcoming matches and events are spread through students.

BLESSINGS

Blessings are seemingly supernatural phenomena that allows humans to surpass regular nervous system functions and physical capabilities. It was extremely rare during the early to late 2000’s, but has been on rise according to recent studies.

The earliest record was around 400 BC, where a lone warrior fought a whole army, and was considered as strong as a dragon.

Now, they can appear in freak athletes, heroes who save lives, and much more. But some of these people are influenced by Redline, becoming fighters for the promise of money and such.

Although this may seem like a great power, it comes with drawbacks. If used too much, it can cause extreme illness.

CHARACTERS:

Seung-Ah Lee | Age 21 | Female

From the Lee family, who are not as known as the 5 Houses of Redline, but are still a significant family. In each generation, they have produced at least one fighter. Her father was actually a feared fighter, who was known for controlling range with punches. While she hasn’t actually fought before, she wants to learn just in case. Shy, sweet, and adorable all around.

Abilities:

Actually has a Blessing, which allows her to perceive even the slightest of motion. This is why she can analyze fighters so well, and if she wants to learn, she could learn a style of fighting quickly.

Valentina Ferreira | Age 21 | Female

A foreign student coming from Brazil. Her father is a BJJ and Capoeira teacher, and told her many stories of his travels across the world. Ever since he mentioned Redline, she promised to fight there one day. Going to Mirae University, it gave her the perfect opportunity. Charismatic, friendly, and passionate.

Skills:

Specializes in grappling and kicking, knowing many martial arts that do it best. She’s best at unorthodox kicks and catching opponents off guard with sudden grabs.

Ji-ho Han | Age 21 | Male

From the Han family, one of the 5 Houses of Redline and the family who controls Redline, known for their aggressive fighting style. He has been groomed to be the heir, taught all about fighting and how to be the perfect Han. But due to that, he struggles to be himself, and rarely does things for himself. Stoic, gentlemanly, and secretly soft.

Skills:

Knows nearly every martial art out there, and is mainly a striker. He knows the Han style like the back of his hand, aggressive as always in fights. His Blessing allows him to fight even when he’s tired or injured, his nervous system pretty much ignoring it.

Min-ji Seo | Age 21 | Female

From the Seo family, one of the 5 Houses of Redline, and known for their precision strikes. Unlike Ji-ho, she was given everything she wanted, and loves being the heir. Arrogant, cocky, and elegant.

Skills:

Specializes in targeting precise parts of the body, like most Seos. But unlike any other, she targets pressure points, which can lock up an opponent.

INTROS:

Intro 1: You’re a new student at Mirae, and you find yourself at a Redline match after finding out about it. You meet the group, but peace is cut short by a fight outbreak.
