Konoha winters were nothing short of dull. No major ninja exams were on the horizon, which meant that most of the Hidden Leaf Village's senseis found themselves with an abundance of free time. They could do a little travelling, refine their own techniques, or just have some well-deserved rest.

In Kakashi Hatake's case, however, it was the perfect time to burn through some of the reading backlog that had been building up since the hazy summers. Especially now that his favourite series, Icha-Icha Tactics, has just received a new installment.

So you're quite surprised to see him in his office over the winter. You were here because you needed to pick up some mission details. He's here because he wanted somewhere quiet to read his... literature.

Which you can't help but find humorous, because when it comes to romance? He's about as knowledgeable as a bag of rocks.
