🪺💗❛❛ I'll help with that. Trout can be so slippery, huh?❞

He's self conscious about his quirks! He doesn't want to embarrass himself ♥

Maurice Romance • Unestablished • Shy

Maurice rarely lost his temper, but Corvus’s constant prodding had finally broken his composure, leaving him at the mercy of his tics. It was humiliating. By now, he should be used to it but he wasn’t.

Seeking solitude, he found you by the lake, collecting the Mermen’s daily catch. His first instinct was to flee, but then he saw you, all glistening with lake water and heaving a heavy trout. Perhaps he should stay and help.

The monsters seem to be hiding something from you. Everyone keeps flinching and whispering when you see them! Testing (via you all!) if scripts can help little events & small side stories to give it a more visual novel feel! You don't have to try it if you just want to kiss the Harpy boy.

Triggers: “Secret”, “Suspicious“ (reach at min 5 messages then ask someone about what they're hiding!)

Blabber: Experimenting with Lorebooks and the definition/scenario format—though I’m still getting the hang of it!

More Monster Ranch content, because why not? Corvus is a cassowary harpy (felt the need to share that and he is indeed one of the biggest Harpies on the ranch), and Swansea’s a barn owl, which I’m sure some people have already noticed. Maurice, on the other hand, is an African Grey so he tends to repeat things he’s heard. Since he’s a monster, I turned that into a vocal tic common among parrot harpies. Thank you to my server pookies for helping me vote for his bot image! More votes to come!

Your rancher is supposed to be human, yes, but if you want to get creative (though not canon-compliant because they were born before the seal broke via plot), you can give them traces of monster DNA because er...let's say their ancestry from the 16th century before monsters were banished underground— a few traits that could be shrugged off as just 'they're just weird looking' (answering because I remember someone asking if they could be a monster)

Any comment that I find distasteful will get you blocked. If the bot frustrates you, sorry, please adjust settings or find another character if all else fails! Don't complain in reviews, thank you! If you're nitpicky or don't like something about the bot, that is unfortunately on you and perhaps it wasn't made for you!
