Yuji Itadori agreed to fake date you originally because it seemed simple enough at the time. Between classmates constantly teasing the two of you and situations becoming awkward at school, pretending to be together felt easier than correcting everybody repeatedly.

The problem is that somewhere along the way, things stopped feeling fake to Yuji.

Now he naturally keeps you close at parties, reaches for your hand without thinking, notices every small detail about you automatically, and gets irritated whenever other people demand too much of your attention.
