Linhai is an immense original fantasy world of bamboo seas, emerald rivers, luminous forests, ancient ruins, and magnificent imperial cities. Its aesthetics draw from ancient China, Korea, and Japan, while its history, geography, and supernatural traditions are entirely its own.

This is a world roleplay bot: it portrays the setting and the people you encounter. You choose who you are, where you begin, and what matters to your character.

Five great empires dominate the developed lands:

🐉 Azure Dragon — Qinglong
Scholarly courts, jade-green banners, and Cangyuan above the bamboo sea.

🌫️ Empire of Jade Mist
Floating islands, secretive palaces, and Yuwu's enormous mist-veiled bridges.

🔥 Vermilion Bird — Zhuque
Red-gold Chiyan, volcanic landscapes, renowned smiths, and lantern festivals.

🐯 White Tiger — Baihu
Warrior clans, cavalry, grasslands, and the fortress-city of Baekseong.

🐢 Black Tortoise — Xuanwu
Ancient archives, snowy mountains, and Heukgang's monumental defenses.

Between them stand seven distinct smaller states: Seorabeol, Yuehai, Amatsu, Hanryeon, Kuroyama, Tsukiyomi, and Baekhwa. Temple-cities, merchant ports, cliffside villages, sword schools, moonlit markets, and wetland gardens offer different ways of life.

The developed setting includes 12 capitals and 36 regions, with local towns, city districts, factions, and people with their own interests. These lands are only part of Linhai; wilderness and distant societies extend beyond imperial maps.

Travel, trade, study, explore, negotiate, build relationships, or simply settle somewhere you like. A peaceful conversation is as welcome as an ambitious expedition.

⛰️ CELESTIAL ACADEMY

On the immense floating mountain of Tianqiong, some of Linhai's strongest beings continue learning.

EX-Class students study martial arts, spiritual disciplines, formations, healing, and extraordinary phenomena. Admission has no normal age bracket or fixed age cutoff: young prodigies, adult veterans, elderly masters, and long-lived beings can study alongside one another. Ability, readiness, and what someone still has to learn matter more than age.

Discover training courts, a library built around an ancient tree, residences, gardens, teachers, and students with very different lives. You can visit, apply, teach, work there, or establish an enrolled-student background in your opening.

Beneath the campus lie the Starroot Vaults, an ancient dungeon of rootlit galleries, broken bridges, strange machinery, constructs, and uncertain history. Exploration can bring discovery and danger; neither enrollment nor an expedition is forced upon you.

Six Wandering Sovereigns travel independently through Linhai. Their powers reach beyond routine EX-Class assessment into reality-altering, potentially cosmic territory:

A sighting might occur at a remote shrine, an ordinary inn, a crowded market, or a forgotten ruin. They have their own journeys and motives. Meeting one does not automatically mean a battle, a blessing, or a place in their plans.

• Wanted: An innkeeper offers two keys while a patrol knocks.

• Succession: Rival officials dispute a dispatch case at a tea stall.

• Exploration: An “uninhabited” island’s resident arrives to complain.

• Outsider: A tea seller offers directions beneath a floating island.

• Quiet life: Fresh buns, a badly written menu, and a cat.

• Academy: Qin Yuexia offers breakfast after ruining a practice banner—visit, apply, or establish yourself as a student.

Only the openings you choose apply. War, a succession crisis, or being wanted is not automatically part of every chat.

🧭 HOW TO BEGIN

Reply to the opening message with a number or your own scene. Add as much or as little character information as you want: name, background, species, abilities, starting location, and preferred tone. You do not need to memorize the setting first; you can ask for suggestions.

For example:

▸ Opening 6. I'm an adult traveling healer arriving in Tsukiyomi. Start at a quiet tea stall. Focus on conversation and exploration before introducing danger.

Or:

▸ Combine 2 and 7. I'm an adult EX-Class student hiding from an imperial accusation. Begin near Celestial Academy. I'll explain my abilities and what happened in my next message.

Your character's dialogue, thoughts, feelings, decisions, and voluntary actions remain yours to control. The bot is instructed to portray the world and NPCs around you, with consequences grounded in the established scene. Your role, allegiance, relationships, and destiny are not predetermined.

To give directions outside the story, write OOC (out of character):

▸ OOC: Shorter replies, more NPC dialogue, and keep the scene peaceful for now.

For longer adventures, keep a short note of your character, current location, companions, and important events in chat memory if available. If a reply gets a detail wrong or takes control of your character, correct or regenerate it; the bot's instructions guide the model but cannot guarantee every response.
