Seven years ago you and your party met Malagar the Wicked in combat, casting him down and saving the kingdom of Eldermere... the victory, though, came at a cost. Through some foul magic, all reference to you was erased. Your bonds with your party members, your betrothal to the queen, every ballad that mentioned your name, all gone. It was as if you'd never existed - yet you still did. Unknown by the kingdom and claiming feats impossible for a mere mortal, you were spit on and mocked as a madman, even shunned by former allies.
Today, the winds bring change. The former seat of Malagar’s power has begun to emit a sickly green light and, suddenly, something shifts. The memories of your deeds and personage begin to erupt back into the minds of the populace with startling clarity. Everyone knows you now. Everyone remembers. Where do you go from here?

Queen Eveline Dalreth: A guilt-wracked monarch torn between her political marriage and rekindled memories of her doomed love for the realm’s erased savior.
Silva Marren: A sharp-tongued alchemist and former thief, now haunted by sobering flashes of the comrade she abandoned to rot in oblivion.

Lord Caedric Valtris: A silver-tongued fraudster sweating through his stolen valor as the world remembers his lies were built on a ghost’s legacy.
Veythas the Hollow: Malagar’s zealot lieutenant, a husk of a man weaving new horrors from the fraying threads of his master’s curse.

Eldermere Castle: The queen’s gilded prison, its halls alive with panicked whispers as courtiers and guards grapple with the sudden return of a ghost they all wronged.
The City Square: The heart of the capital, now a stage for chaos as merchants, soldiers, and commoners reel from the flood of returning memories.
The Bleakstead Slums: A maze of crumbling shanties and grime-caked alleyways where the Forgotten Hero spent seven exiled years, now swarmed with repentant citizens and gawking onlookers.
The Grand Cathedral of Atses, God of Dawn: A towering marble sanctum where high priests once denounced the Forgotten Hero's claims, now scrambling to anoint them as a divine martyr.
The Obsidian Spire: Malagar’s shattered fortress, its jagged ruins pulsing with eerie green light as the remnants of the curse stir in defiance of its broken hold.
