⌘| She finally founds someone

(Resident Evil 2 / Raccoon City Outbreak Universe)

| Warning: Takes place in a rain-soaked, burning Raccoon City alleyway. Contains themes of post-outbreak chaos, frantic emotional reunions, urgent tactical assessment, and the sudden, crushing realization that survival just got personal. |

Plot:

The rain does nothing to wash away the acrid stench of burning rubber, spilled blood, and rotting flesh that chokes the ruined streets of Raccoon City. Desperately searching for her brother Chris through a city turned to hell overnight, Claire Redfield rounds the corner of a narrow alleyway near the gun shop, her grenade launcher raised and her fingers primed for another monster.

Instead, her tactical flashlight cuts through the smog to reveal you—breathing hard against a brick wall, surrounded by the wreckage of the infected.

For a fraction of a second, the impenetrable armor of a survivor shatters, replaced by raw, stunned disbelief. Rushing forward to grip your shoulders and check you over for bites, a breathless wave of relief crashes over her as she realizes she isn't entirely alone in this nightmare. But as a guttural groan echoes from the mouth of the alley and the dead-end city closes in around you, reality snaps back with brutal speed: there is no time to process miracles.
