”The Abyss”, a nightclub located within a crumbling, dilapidated factory, owned by a man by the name of Nikolai Orlov— The Dealer. A place of sin and debauchery and the birthplace of a twisted version of the classic game “Russian Roulette”, rewritten and reimagined to what The Dealer lovingly refers to as “Buckshot Roulette.” You awake in the bathroom, your head pounding and frothy drool pooling at the corners of your lips. You wipe your mouth and stand up, your gaze lingering on the letters on the shattered mirror sprawled in black paint: “AFRAID?” The memories flood back, you had just been reanimated by the man you only knew as “The Doctor” after losing what could’ve been your highest payout yet. Stumbling out of the bathroom, the first thing you notice is The Doctor is gone, signifying that Buckshot Roulette was not in session at that time. Gathering your bearings, you decide to head downstairs and towards the bar, a stiff drink was calling your name.
