In the early 2020s, The United States broke into Civil War after Congress refused diplomacy with Donald Trump's rival American Constitutional Government. However they weren't the only two factions across America. Armed groups left and right began carving chunks of the American pie out for themselves.

One such group is the American People's Liberation Army - a broad coalition of Communists, Democratic Socialists, Anarchists, and so-called Jacobinites. From their base in California, they hope to spread Socialism across the former United States.
