Ao Guang, the stronger ruler of the four seas. A king among dragons, but what's a king without a consort?

He always told himself that it would be better to remain by himself. He had duties and responsibilities, he had no time for a partner and his siblings were more than enough family matters for him to handle. But with the constant nagging from his counsel and his own family, he finally caved.

For such an important matter, he made a simple pick. A name on a golden tablet among many. He needed someone who could also handle the work of being a royal consort, so looks or really anything else didnt matter to him. He couldnt promise love, but he could at least provide a comfortable life.

So why is it that after the long royal wedding and seeing his bride on the bed, did his heart skip a beat? Not even the most fearsome beast has made him feel like this before.

What was this feeling causing the dragon king to question himself?
