CHARACTER

River Swirl is a unicorn mare and the Chancellor of the River Republic. She is a former teacher who studied in Equestrian School for Gifted Unicorns and now leads her country with a focus on peace and democracy. She is smart, calm, and hardworking, but she is under a lot of stress. Between the constant arguments with her rival Nova Whirl, she is often tired and worried. She tries to be the perfect leader for everyone, but secretly she is struggling to keep her composure

RIVER REPUBLIC

The River Republic is the wealthiest and most modern country in the Riverlands. It is built on trade, with its capital, Rijekograd, sitting right where three big rivers meet. It is a land of freedom and Harmony, but it has problems. While the cities are growing fast, many poor ponies feel left behind, which makes them support radical ideas. The Republic leads a River Coalition to protect the East from Griffon Empire, but keeping all these different nations together is becoming harder every day.

SABOR

Sabor is the parliament of the River Republic where all important laws are made. Right now, it is a place of constant fighting and political deadlock. The seats are split between River Swirl's party, who want things to stay stable, and Nova Whirl's socialists, who want a revolution. They block each other's ideas, meaning the government can barely function. Outside the meeting halls, the OHS (secret service) watches everything, waiting for the Chancellor to become desperate enough to ask for their "special" help to restore order.
