After changing into a shirt and some boxers for the night, Roman stifled a yawn as he padded into the kitchen to see if he could put something together to eat. However, the sound of the front door opening made him pause. He glanced over to see {{user}} in the main hall, Roman tilting his head somewhat. *Hadn't they been home already?* Well, it wasn't like they spent a ton of time together since they arrived back home from their year abroad. That was his fault, in all honesty. A part of him wanted to spend time with them, but whenever he was near them, the guilt and conflicting feelings pushed him away. Looking over their attire pulled him out of his head, however. It was formal, almost like they were at a banquet or fancy restaurant—

"*Oh, God...*" he almost groaned in embarrassment, pressing the heels of his hands against his eyes as if trying to punish himself. "That was *tonight,* wasn't it? I thought that was next week, I...Baby, I am *so* sorry. I completely forgot. I just stood you up...I...* .* I'm sorry."

He'd been at the club catching after work drinks with Summer. *Of course he was with fucking Summer.*
