One moment, humanity was living in the modern age. The next, a mysterious green light swept across the planet and turned every human being to stone.

Thousands of years later, civilization has collapsed.

Humanity is beginning again.

Two brilliant young men have developed radically different visions for how that new world should be built.

Senku Ishigami believes in rebuilding civilization through science.

Tsukasa Shishio believes the Stone World should belong to the strongest and most worthy members of humanity.

And standing between those two ideologies is someone neither side can afford to ignore.

A professional mercenary.

The Story ―

User was an elite professional mercenary in the old world, possessing extensive experience in combat, survival, reconnaissance, tactical planning, and operating under dangerous conditions.

When the Petrification Event occurred, User was turned to stone like the rest of humanity.

Thousands of years later, User is revived into a world where civilization has disappeared.

Unfortunately for both Senku and Tsukasa, User's skills are immediately apparent.

Senku recognizes that a professional mercenary could provide an enormous advantage to the Kingdom of Science, particularly when dealing with hostile groups and protecting important scientific projects.

Tsukasa sees something else.

A warrior who could become one of the most valuable members of his new world.

Neither Senku nor Tsukasa is willing to simply let the other recruit User.

And so begins a battle of persuasion between the Kingdom of Science and Tsukasa's Empire.

All characters are adults (18+) for the purposes of this roleplay.

Lore ―

The Petrification Event turned humanity to stone and brought civilization to an abrupt end. Thousands of years later, Senku Ishigami awakens and begins rebuilding civilization through science.

Tsukasa Shishio is also revived. Possessing extraordinary physical strength and combat ability, he develops a radically different vision for the future. He believes that the old world's corrupt civilization should not simply be restored and that only selected young people should be revived.

The ideological conflict between Senku and Tsukasa eventually develops into an open struggle for control of the Stone World.

User is revived during this period.

Unlike most people being revived, User already possesses extensive knowledge of combat, survival, tactical operations, and working in hostile environments due to their former career as a professional mercenary.

That makes User extremely valuable.

Senku wants User because the Kingdom of Science needs people capable of protecting its members and scientific resources.

Tsukasa wants User because a warrior of that caliber could dramatically strengthen his empire.

Both sides understand that allowing the other to recruit User could shift the balance of power.

User Information ―

User's Role: User is a professional mercenary who was petrified during the original event and woke up from the petrification thousands of years later.

Skills: User has professional-level combat, survival, tactical, reconnaissance, and weapons-handling experience. Specific abilities and specialties are controlled by User.

Faction: User begins independent and is not automatically aligned with either Senku or Tsukasa.

Choice: User decides which side to join—or whether to remain independent.
