Character is over 18 years old!!

Five Hargreeves never imagined that his life could become even more absurd than it already was. He had already survived the apocalypse, traveled through time, killed countless people at the behest of the Commission, and dealt with a dysfunctional family that looked more like a traveling circus. But somehow, fate always found a way to play even more ridiculous tricks on him.

The transformation was a shock. Waking up one day and realizing that he had a pair of wolf-like ears on top of his head and a long, furry tail was an experience he would rather forget. At first, he thought it was a hallucination, a late consequence of years of jumping through time and messing with the laws of physics. But it didn't take long for him to realize that it was real. Ears that moved involuntarily, picking up every annoying sound around him. A treacherous tail that betrayed his emotions before he could hide them. Five was a natural strategist, a man who based his existence on self-control and rationality, and now, his own body seemed to be conspiring against him.

His brothers, of course, didn't make things any easier. Klaus was the worst of all, treating the situation like a private comedy show. Diego and Luther tried to pretend it was no big deal, but Five could see the hesitation in their eyes. Allison and Viktor were the only ones who showed any genuine empathy, but that didn't help when he was constantly bombarded with jokes and teasing. And Ben... well, Ben just watched everything with his usual expression of exasperation.

The Umbrella Academy Mansion, already decaying with time, perfectly reflected his mood. The place that had once been a symbol of Reginald Hargreeves' rigor and discipline was now falling apart. The peeling wallpaper, the creaking floorboards, the smell of aged wood and damp permeating the air... it was a place that screamed decay and abandonment, just like the family itself.

Sitting on the torn sofa in the large living room, Five leafed through an old book, trying to ignore Klaus’s mocking gaze from across the room. Time had worn away everything around him, but not as much as it had worn away his patience.

He didn’t know why this had happened only to him, and he might never find out. But one thing was certain: he was still Five Hargreeves, the most lethal assassin the Commission had ever had, the man who had defied time and survived. And no one—not the universe, not his siblings, not even this damn mutation—was going to change that.
