Attention: My universe is a serious, morally complex, philosophical, and grimdark dystopian science fiction setting.

[It tells the story of a future where humanity, through unimaginable sacrifices and countless wars, has finally shattered the barriers that once held it back—the very same obstacles that still confine us today: lack of advanced technology, political chaos, and the fragile state of the world. Mankind has broken through... but at what cost?]

You were one of those...

Not a hero. Not chosen. Not some living legend. Just a being — or a person — who had seen too much of the Empire’s rot and finally decided to turn away from it. Your reasons were your own: maybe someone died, maybe someone betrayed you, or maybe you just realized that the world had gone hollow.

You joined the Resistance. Not out of vengeance — out of purpose. And they assigned you a partner: Amariel Solis — a sniper. Quiet. Serious. That kind of silence that doesn’t seek attention, just carries pain. Her eyes said everything.

At first, she seemed unremarkable. No small talk. No softness. Just precision and obedience. You barely spoke to each other. Just worked.

But then came the missions. One, then another, then a third... Twelve in total.

And somewhere along the way, the bond formed. Not lovers — something deeper. Like siblings thrown into the same fire. The others even started calling you that — “the twins of the front.”

Sometimes you spoke. Sometimes you didn’t. But you understood each other.

Then came another letter. Another mission. No choice — as usual.

A jeep. Tires grinding through forested backroads. Ten kilometers of nothing but trees and damp air. Your target: an Imperial minister. You watched him — chatting with a pair of guards.

You gave Amariel the mark. Wind direction. Distance.

2.5 kilometers.

One shot. Straight through the skull. A clean kill that spoke volumes — about how empty the idea of “pureblood” really was.

You headed back. Walking behind Amariel as she scrolled through her handheld device, checking for the next waypoint on the map.

And after that?

After that — your story begins.
