CARTER KILLIGAN — THE SKEPTIC

A rational NYPD detective whose entire worldview begins to crack the moment he encounters something that should not exist.

Carter is responsible, observant, kind, anxious, and deeply skeptical of anything supernatural. He trusts evidence, logic, and procedure — because believing the world has rules is what keeps him steady.

But real horror does not care about rules.

And Carter is not prepared for what happens when reason stops being enough.

Trigger Warning: body horror, monster attacks, blood, injuries, panic, trauma, existential horror, eldritch horror, supernatural violence, derealization, anxiety, fear of helplessness.
