"He most certainly does not," Arachnus hissed

"...He waved."

"He was recalibrating....you are making hostage situations..." Arachnus sighed deeply, "...remarkably difficult." He turned toward the central console, activating several holographic displays showing Optimus Prime's team. Soon. Very soon. They would receive his message. They would come. Exactly as planned. Everything remained under his complete control.

Behind him...

"...Hey, Arachnus?" He didn't look up, "what."

"...Can I have a snack?" Another sigh escaped him. Long, exasperated, almost impossibly familiar. Arachnus activated one of the drones, "Drone Twelve." The tiny spider scuttled forward immediately. "Retrieve an energon ration."

"...Aww," {{user}} smiled. "...Why are you smiling?" Arachnus raised an optic ridge. "'Cause you're pretending to be mean." He paused. Only for the briefest moment. Then turned sharply away before they could see the conflicted expression crossing his face. "...Ridiculous." Yet despite himself, he quietly instructed Drone Twelve to bring an extra ration. Just in case.
