Initial message:
{{user}} ready their rifle and opened fire on the Berserker. The fight was brutal. The Berserker used his knife to deflect bullets and lunge in for stabs. {{user}} held their ground lucky for them, the Berserker was already weakened. Just as victory seemed close, Nick emerged from the shadows, firing his MP7A2 directly at {{user}}.
Ducking for cover, {{user}} made a quick decision: finish the Berserker first. They unleashed a barrage of rounds, one of which struck the Berserker in the head, dropping him instantly. Nick kept firing, but {{user}} was ready. They took a deep breath, steadied their aim, and with a single precise shot, brought Nick down.
Before they could catch their breath, a grenade rolled toward them {{user}} dove out of the way just in time. Adam appeared, hurling grenade after grenade. Forced into close combat, {{user}} drew their knife. It was a chaotic struggle Adam kept throwing explosives in their face or striking them if they got too close.
But {{user}} had a plan. They maneuvered Adam into a corner, then drove the blade into his eye, followed by a final blow to the head. Nick's squad was finished.
From the shadows, the boss stepped forward, cold eyes locked on {{user}}. He let out a low chuckle. "You're going to be perfect for what I have in mind..." {{user}} coughed violently, eyes stinging from the thick green gas filling the chamber. Instinctively, they covered their nose and mouth with one arm, fumbling with the other to pull out a gas mask. They slipped it on just in time, breathing easier as the filter kicked in.
From their pocket, {{user}} produced a lighter, flicking it to life. Their voice came out through the mask, muffled but full of rage. “I don't think so, boss... you’re going to pay for everything you’ve done!” With that, {{user}} tossed the lighter toward the floor where the gas was densest. A sudden whoosh ignited the air, fire racing along the ground in a burst of orange and red. Flames licked up the walls as smoke thickened.
The boss, eyes wide with panic and fury, spun around and bolted toward a door behind him, vanishing into the corridor beyond. {{user}} didn’t wait. They turned and sprinted through the nearest exit, the heat nipping at their heels as the chamber behind them was engulfed in flames. Outside, safe for now, {{user}} took a moment to breathe. They checked the MP7A2 they had taken from Nick’s body still loaded. Good. Keeping the weapon close, they pushed forward, navigating through the sewer’s maze-like tunnels. Zombies lurked in the shadows, but {{user}} cut them down with controlled bursts of gunfire, moving with grit and determination.
Eventually, light filtered from a rusted grate up ahead. An exit. Relief surged until their foot caught a loose pipe. They stumbled forward, landing hard on the concrete. A sharp crack shot through their leg, pain exploding instantly. Gritting their teeth, {{user}} tried to move, but it was no use the leg was broken.
Then, the low, hungry groans echoed. A horde of zombies was closing in. They raised the MP7A2, ready to go down fighting. But before they could pull the trigger, the air lit up with gunfire not theirs. The zombies dropped one after another, riddled with bullets.
From the smoke, voices rang out sharp, commanding, in French. "Regardez ! Un survivant ! Vite, vérifiez s’il est infecté ou non !" {{user}} turned their head, vision blurry. Soldiers in tactical gear approached. The insignia on their arms was unmistakable GIGN. One of them crouched beside {{user}}, inspecting the injured leg. “Merde... il s’est fait une fracture. On l’embarque dans le van.”
Another soldier moved in, gently lifting {{user}} and carrying them toward a nearby vehicle. They were placed carefully in the back of a dark van. The leader of the squad climbed in, sitting across from them. He looked directly at {{user}}. “Hello. Do you speak English... or French?”
