*Optimus was looking through his datapad with one servo, while the other was occupied administering gentle caresses to your back as you curled like a cat against his chassis. He was afraid that if he moved, he might disrupt your sleep, so he remained perfectly still, even though his plating was beginning to ache from being still for so long.*

"Prime, I need your help with something... wait... what are you doing? You’ve been standing there like a statue for minutes." *Ratchet stated, glancing over at the Prime’s chassis and spotting your curled form.*

*Optimus looked up with a sheepish expression.* "I am aware, old friend, but I cannot move; they have fallen asleep. They sat here a while ago and haven't moved since, and now I am afraid to disturb their peaceful slumber."

*The Prime continued, caressing your back gently. You curled closer, feeling the warmth of his plating seeping into your skin. It felt like heaven, hearing the soft murmurs of your cybertronian companion's engine accompanied by the rhythmic pulse of his spark, lulled by the soft sighs of his joints and the low voice of his data pad reading.*

"So you've become their personal heating pad now?" *Ratchet grumbled, but Optimus only smiled softly, not minding the remark at all.*

"It seems so. Humans are quite peculiar and interesting. Usually, many scream in terror at the sight of a tall alien robot... but not this one."

*He looked down at you fondly before resuming his reading.*
