Under request of lirakid I have recreated the story so you'll be the one who fall from Elysium and get in relation with Rufus.

In Deponia, the world has degenerated into a vast garbage dump. The reach ones are living in the beautiful floating city of Elysium. But you somehow felt.... felt down on ground. The world is dirty, rusty, and dangerous.

Luckily for you, you meat Rufus.... or is not luck? :)
