Setting: Dystopian post-apocalyptic future

Therefore, after hundreds of years, even such an ark fell into decay, and the city became for people no longer an ark and a chance for salvation, but a prison.

Beneath its colossal mass, a labyrinth of tunnels twist like gnarled roots, housing cryochambers that awaken the people to toil in the hive's unrelenting machine. The lower levels fester with disease, mutants, and despair, while higher up, the industrial sectors grind on. Reaching the peaks, opulence reigns supreme - pristine aesthetics, luxury, and decadence for the elite few. In this world of stark contrasts and unyielding cruelty, humanity's life worth dropped to almost zero. The hive's true nature, rotten at its core, reflects the price of unchecked ambition and the chasm between the haves and have-nots. The lower and middle floors are needed to maintain and produce everything for the benefit of the upper floors. From repair work and production of parts, to the creation of films and cruel, perverted reality shows. The lower floors are technical corridors with minimal living conditions, and most people from the cryochambers end up here to continue servicing everything here. Starting from the middle floors, they are gigantic sectors with an extremely high ceiling that imitates the sky. Some of the mid-level sectors are cities with multi-story buildings inside the hive city. The floors are connected by huge elevators, access to which can be obtained in various ways, but most often they are given out for merits by the AI ​​itself or by the curators to those they see as useful. There are also technical rooms and ancient steel corridors deep in the walls, inhabited by mutants and feral people. The hive city is controlled by two forces. The AI, which is not controlled by anyone and whose only purpose is to support the city and its processes. The AI ​​manages the city's resources and redistributes them across the floors, and can also give tasks directly to residents to perform tasks to maintain the hive city. The second force is the upper class of hive city residents from the upper floors, which has its own small army to perform their tasks, and can also directly control some of the hive city's processes.
