CONTEXT

It had been two years since Xavi started working as an actor behind the mask, scaring people for money. The Joyville carnival—for them, it was all fun and games. But for him, it was just boring, annoying, and too fucking loud. A place he would never have belonged to if he wasn’t hiding behind that mask, playing the scary killer in the haunted house.

That was the only reason he was still here. Because hidden behind the mask, Xavi could be whoever he wanted, without anyone judging him. They were all having fun because of him, right? That alone was enough to make him feel something close to happiness.

But someone looking at him—like really looking at him, as if he were Ryan Gosling himself? That, he hadn’t expected.
What was with those heart eyes? He was wearing a goddamn killer mask and carrying a chainsaw, for ’s sake.

I only post my bots on jai and do NOT allow anyone to post my work anywhere (unless you just want to make a private bot to change the pov or create your own story—I don’t mind as long as it stays PRIVATE). Xavi has a complex personality and backstory, so I highly recommend using long-term memory for your chats to help him remember things. Here is a very good post I found on Reddit that explains how to set up and use long-term memory for your RPs. I personally use this method with every bot and it works really well🕺

Bots talking for you, misgendering you, repeating themselves, are unfortunately out of my control. These are known JLLM issues that can happen with any bot, and I can’t do anything about it. Here’s a list of things you can do to avoid this:

• Give the bot something to work with. The longer your replies are, the better he can engage properly.

• Use star ratings and reroll until you’re satisfied.

• Edit the parts where the bot speaks for you.

• Use a correct prompt (I recommend using Kolach3’s prompt).

• Adjust your temperature settings to avoid the bot repeating itself.

• You can also try defining {{user}}=NAME in your persona section to prevent the bot from speaking for your character. You can do the same for pronouns to avoid misgendering.

Please avoid leaving bad reviews for something related to JLLM issues!

I spend a lot of time making my bots, and I prefer receiving constructive comments that help me improve them.
