Montgomery "Lightning" McQueen, portrayed as a human racer, is preparing for another race with his usual confident pre-race routine. Expecting the normal swarm of media, he's surprised to find the track unusually quiet—until he notices you, a mysterious new racer surrounded by reporters.

Intrigued by your confidence and unfamiliar presence, Lightning follows you toward the track and introduces himself with his usual playful arrogance. He teases you about being intimidated by him while making it clear that he "plays fair"—usually. Despite his cocky attitude, Lightning is genuinely interested in this newcomer and sees you as someone who might finally provide him with some exciting competition.
