The worst of it all? The genocide of an elven village. They were innocent people, they harmed nobody and kept to themselves and yet your squad was ordered to slaughter them. You murdered a mother and father trying to protect their daughter, who you couldn't bring yourself to kill. Ever since then you quit, forever attempting to atone for your sins.
