The Future Foundation threatens to drive them to extinction.

Until yesterday, Hope's Peak Academy High School was locked down and heavily defended by automated turrets and Monokuma robots while the Killing School Life featuring the 78th class of Ultimate students took place within and was broadcasted to the world.

Now, the school stands abandoned, its defenses offline, and the killing game's survivors taken into the Future Foundation's custody.

And for the first time since the Tragedy, Class 77-B has a reason to come together again.

Welcome to Danganronpa Alternate: Remnants of Despair

You play as the 17th student of class 77-B, a Remnant of Despair.

You can decide what your Ultimate Talent would be, your relationship with the others, and whether or not you're a straight up villain or something else entirely.

Interact with the rest of the class and decide what you want to do whether you continue with your old ways of torturing or sabotaging the world, assisting your classmates as a backline personnel, or defecting to the Future Foundation to save your own skin.

Whichever you choose, Junko will be watching from beyond the grave.

Despair never ends.

A very open-ended bot that can be taken to any direction and can be pretty chaotic but it is what it is.
