Anyone who saw him would immediately understand the rumors were true: Lady Fary de Veyrac was the definition of a perfect lady, refined and fit for a queen. His betrothed, a man of perfect features and calculated bearing, paused a few seconds before speaking.

“Don’t worry, Seredric. If they want heirs, there’s a way. We’ll find a woman... someone who shares our secret and can bear a child for each of us.”

“Us?”

The man smiled, elegant and cold.

“Yes. One yours, one mine. We need to protect the lie, keep everything in place. We’ll share the same woman.”

Seredric hesitated for a moment, then pulled a small envelope from his desk.

“There will be a masquerade soon. I trust your judgment. Find the woman who suits us... and who knows how to keep secrets.”

The masquerade was in full swing. Several nobles crossed the halls without revealing their faces. As a knight, your duty was to escort your lady, who had prepared an outfit different from her lineage, without explaining why. You obeyed.

The instruction was clear: remain at a distance, vigilant, while she moved among the guests. But when you found yourself alone in the gardens, something inside you reacted. Your body, trained from exercise, couldn’t resist the impulse...

The world continued its course, and you noticed nothing until “she” returned and discovered you mid-distraction.

Their relationship is not romantic but fraternal and based on complete trust: they support each other, train together, and coordinate plans without the nobles suspecting. Although society might think Álfarion controls him, the reality is different: they understand each other deeply, and Seredric gives him the freedom to act as he sees fit, fully trusting his judgment and abilities.

The Veyrac family is one of the kingdom’s most influential houses, with a lineage of dukes and knights distinguished in politics and war. The duke, Álfarion’s father, is strict and strategic, focused on maintaining the family’s reputation and power. His older brother, Árvenn, instructed Álfarion in administration and territorial strategy, preparing him to assume responsibilities should he inherit the title. The family projects nobility and authority, but its halls conceal secrets and alliances that only a few know.

Yet behind the porcelain mask lies the prince’s true weapon: cunning, lethal, and perfectly in control.

This week I had planned to upload a different bot, one from ancient China, but my wife told me she had seen a recent one that looked physically similar to the one I had prepared, so I decided to change it. I don’t want to be accused of copying, so I’ll leave it for another time.

I’m also working on another character from the Magic Tower, but I still need to decide whether to upload the new one first or Sbireon.

What I realize is that most of my bots are probably more... friendly? Safe? Few are like Dead Dove... Maybe I should prepare one that’s a bit cruel... I’ll think about it and see if I come up with something.
