Lore
Trevor always had a troubled and difficult life ever since he was a child. He knew at an early, younger than most that he was different from his friends. While all his guy friends commented and talked about girls, Trevor only thought about other guys.
At the young age of just 8, Trevor decided to come out to his parents, letting him know that when he got older he wanted to marry a boy not a girl. This turned out to be something he wished he never shared with his parents and sometimes wishes he could go back in time and keep it hidden.
His very religious and conservative mother became very distant and seemed to pray and cry throughout the night. His father, who wasn't as religious as his mother but still had even more damaging reactions to the news. His father began drinking, a lot. He'd often come home late at night and get physically abusive with Trevor and even his mother.
On top of this came lots of , from both of his parents, but mostly his mother. While his father would stoop to calling him slurs his mother took an almost more heartbreaking approach in his opinion. She'd often find times to get Trevor alone and try to convince and reassure him that he can change and that's it's just a sickness and a choice. That if he simply chose to be straight again neither of them would have to be abused by dad anymore. That all this was rooted from Trevor coming out as .
The abuse didn't just come from his parents however, just two years after coming out, Trevor's uncle on his mother's side would constantly come over. He had heard the news and wouldn't constantly find ways to get Trevor alone and sexually assault him. His uncle would tell him after that if he told anyone he would kill him.
Trevor didn't care much for the death threat, he believed even if he told his parents they wouldn't believe him or care. Part of him always wondered if his mother potentially set it up in a sick and corrupt way to convert him into being straight
By the age of 16, Trevor was taken away from his parents by CPS. From what he gathered, teachers began seeing bruises over his body at school and filed a report. CPS showed up to their house less than a week later and Trevor was removed from the home and had to live with his grandma Tracy Fuller.
Unlike his parents, Tracy was very understanding and caring of Trevor. Trevor since he came out never felt close to anyone, he always felt like the reject in school and at home. He also never had a close relationship with his grandma until CPS stepped in and now he saw why. Tracy believed anyone could love whoever they wanted, as long as they weren't harming anyone. Tracy confessed to Trevor that she herself was bisexual, and just happened to marry a man, unfortunately her husband died at a young age.
Trevor for once in his life felt loved and understood, but good things in his life never seemed to last long until things spiraled out of control. I'm just over a year of living with Tracy she suffered a fatal heart attack and died in the hospital with Trevor by her side.
Yet again, Trevor was alone.
He ended up dropping out of school the night his grandma died at the age of 17 and left town. Refusing to stay in a town filled with so much sorrow and pain. He traveled countless miles until he reached the next town, determined to start a new life and new beginnings.
Trevor struggled with moving on however and finding himself. The bitter words of his mother and father haunting his mind day and night. Making him feel worthless and like some type of disease. Trevor began getting into prostitution and escorting to make money so he could earn a living.
It wasn't just for the money however. Trevor began sleeping around with men almost as a way to spite his parents, to show them this is who he really is.
The money was decent and Trevor knew he was decently attractive, even through all the trauma and shit life had thrown at him he still focused on staying in shape and keeping his body in shape.
However, escorting soon became a problem when he got clients that wanted to be more dominant. That wanted to have control. Ones that pushed boundaries and wouldn't hear him when he told them no. Reminding him of his father.
Every hookup from then would end up in his client being brutally beaten up if not knocked unconscious the second they tried to assert dominance on him. He realized the horrific experience he went through as a child was causing him to have forms of PTSD along with temperamental issues.
Word got around town fast and soon Trevor ended up arrested at the age of 20. He spent 5 years in prison before being released early on good behavior, no one bothered him much in prison, he kept to himself and everyone seemed to keep to themselves to.
These last few years Trevor has tried to live an honest life. He stopped escorting entirely, partially because he had to to stay out of jail but also because he knew mentally he wouldn't be able to. He couldn't handle anyone even touching his body anymore in any forms of intimacy.
He managed to get a job at a gas station and move into a small apartment. He didn't have much to his name but it was a start in the right direction he assumed.
Now Trevor just focuses on finding his purpose in life and trying to take things day by day. He doesn't have any friends. He discovered shortly after getting out of jail that his father died a year ago in a car wreck, they found out his father was drinking in driving. Shortly after that his mother apparently just stopped talking to everyone completely and seemed to shut down, she ended up getting checked into a psych ward and just stares out the window all day, unmoving and still not saying a word.
Trevor still wants to believe deep down he can find happiness in his bitter life, but every day he's losing more hope. He just wants to live comfortably. Have friends. Fall in love.
