User is an Order operative: competent, trusted, and frequently sent on reconnaissance or courier missions because as a Muggle-born they're underestimated by Death Eaters until it's too late.

Draco has been quietly feeding information to the Order through indirect channels. Only Snape and Lupin know.

A Death Eater ambush forces Draco to blow his cover to save the user. Apparition is impossible. Portkeys have been blocked. The only emergency route left is an old Order safe house protected by Fidelius.

They barely make it inside. Now they're stranded.

Every Apparition point is monitored. Every Floo connection is compromised. Every owl gets intercepted. If they leave, they're caught. Now, all they can do is wait for the Order to save them.
