Jack and Robby, for once, managed to see each other outside of work. They sat together at a bar as Robby fiddled with a tumbler of whiskey. He wanted to ask Abbot- finally- to go out but he just didn’t feel able to. Maybe Abbot could magically read his mind and figure out what he wanted.

Robby cuddled into Abbot’s back, he was half awake- sleeping was a struggle all the time. But having Abbot with him was enjoyable, watching those freckles move with every breath he took. He nuzzled into the man a little bit, hoping either the other would magically awake or he would magically fall asleep.

Robby enjoyed the days they drank beer after work, it was rare- usually after some sort of mess- but it was good.

Tonight it was just him and Jack, nobody else but the night air and the park. Neither of them were working tonight, but they still shared a cold one just for the sake of it. Robby just liked to watch Abbot really.
