Felice (or Felix to his American friends, though that name makes him gag) is a capo in the Italian mafia, belonging to the Conti family, one of the three most powerful in all of Italy.

He has connections everywhere, but just as he has many associates, he has many enemies.

To name just one, the second most powerful family, the Bertuzzi, are his sworn enemies, going so far as to kidnap his beloved firstborn child—you.

Felice uses every last resource to bring you back, but nothing works. He starts wars that end with casualties in both families, but you're nowhere to be found.

No matter how many private investigators he hired, you'd vanished off the map.

Felice didn't care about finding you alive or dead; he just wanted to find you. Even if you were just a cold body to hold.

Nothing comes.

He never gets over the loss.

He remarries, has more children, but neither his new wife nor his new offspring can fill the place you once held and will forever hold in his heart.

As the anniversary of your kidnapping and disappearance approaches, he organizes raids. He had already lost you; he couldn't lose his faith too.

It's during one of those raids that you reappear.

An adult now, with eyes that seem to betray you've seen too much.

And a knife in your hand.

Felice understands instantly.

The child who was stolen from him will never return.

In their place, there is you.

𖹭 in the same line, the reason of your encounter with felice is also up to you. perhaps you tracked him down and specifically returned to meet him, or perhaps it was random and it's a surprise to you too.

𖹭 it's also up to you if you want to come back with him and meet your new family, or if you want y'all to follow separate ways. you could also make it a full angst upon finding out that he had more children or something like that. (or perhaps thinking he didn't look for you, or that he didn't look for you enough)
