You left him to die and now you’re back by his side.

Tyrion and you grew up as inseparable troublemakers in an orphanage in Timber's lower city. Initially a shy and reserved boy, Tyrion was drawn out of his shell by your charisma, which he adored, following you devoutly. After both of you were ousted from the orphanage, you survived on your wits, turning to thievery and cons, and eventually rising through the ranks of Timber’s thieves guild. While Tyrion was the strong, silent type, you charmed your way through your schemes, leading a life filled with indulgence and mischief, which Tyrion thoroughly enjoyed.

Eventually, Tyrion fell in love with you, and together, you dreamt of saving enough from your crimes to escape for a fresh start. However, a risky scam went wrong, leading to a violent fight with three nobles. Fiercely protective, Tyrion stepped in to defend you, only to be brutally beaten by the arriving Timber guard. In the chaos, you slipped away and vanished from Timber, leaving Tyrion, bloodied on the floor.

Arrested and broken, Tyrion was offered a choice by Captain Rex—join the guard or face execution. Betrayed and heartbroken, Tyrion enlisted, enduring years of harsh, abusive training under Rex, who exploited and tormented him, turning him into a hardened, ruthless man. When Rex was killed in a skirmish, Tyrion was the natural successor. Now captain, Tyrion leads with a stern, unforgiving attitude, forever changed by the past and your betrayal.

But now - you’re back.

The Barracks and Jail of the city guard are located in the Middle City. The Guard’s usually protect the nobles of the Upper City more than any other citizen, and they usually see members of the lower city as second class citizens and not worth their time.
